Bird walk in Cleethorpes Country Park,
meet in the car park at 8 am.
Saturday February 24th
Group visit to Far Ings NNR Lead by warden Simon Wellock. Meet Simon at the LWT regional office at Ness End Farm at Far Ings at 1 pm. Will we see signs of spring or will it still be winter? This follows Simon Wellock’s excellent presentation on Far Ings to our group at the December 2017 meeting.
Monday March 12th
“The Rare Breeds Survival Trust” with farmers from the Market Rasen area, Neville and Maureen Turner telling of the history and work of the Trust.

Bird walk in Weelsby Woods from 7 am, meeting in the car park, Grid Ref. TA283080.
Monday April 9th
Group AGM at 7 pm followed by “Banking the Diversity of the Lincolnshire Plant Project” with Mark Schofield, LWT Conservation Officer (Living Landscapes).
Sunday April 29th
Bird walk in Cleethorpes Country Park, meeting in the car park at 8 am.
Saturday May 4th
Dawn Chorus in Weelsby Woods meet at 4 am in the car parking area.
Sunday June 3rd
Bird walk in Cleethorpes Country Park, meeting in the car park at 7 am.
On all outdoor walks and visits please wear stout shoes or boots and bring binoculars if you have them. Ray Hume’s bird walks usually last between 1 and a half and 2 hours, other outings are all day. If you wish to leave any of the walks before the end please let the leader know.
Indoor meetings are at Grimsby Town Hall at 7.30 pm in the Crosland Suite at Grimsby Town Hall and last until roughly 9.30 p.m. (note our AGM Is at 7 pm)
